Interim communications manager responsible for internal communications and employee engagement within the Performance Coatings business area. Responsible for communications during the largest reorganisation in the company’s history that reduced management levels from CEO to customers from 12 to 6, globally. New organisation ended up with 19,500 employees in 7 strategic Market Units in 32 countries.

Responsibilities

  • Internal positioning of Conrad Keijzer, Executive Committee member and the new Performance Coatings Leadership Team
  • Media training, strategic video interviews, webcasts, global emails, WebEx sessions
  • Ghost writing quarterly messages for Exec Committee member on financial and business results
  • Driving deliverables of the Global communications strategy in close cooperation with HR and corporate teams
  • Developing and executing integrated communications plans and activities to support the business area’s overall priorities
  • Setting up and managing the Performance Coatings Site Communications Network (tto reach offline employees, toolbox PPTs / translations)
  • Responsible for implementation of a new global intranet site and monthly newsletter
